What sound card do you own?

One of these:

http://www.midiman.net/products/m-audio/1010lt.php

It is the heart and sould of my modest studio.

It just records things, and doesn't stand in the way of them sounding good. I get like a gazillion inputs with it, and I can I/O just about anthything.

My life would utterly suck without it.

One of the best bargains in audio. I rank it up there with the RNC, the Mackie mixer, the Yorkville monitor, etc.

I'm tryin to get every forum with my name on it... HOLD ON!

Oh. So that's what you were trying to do.

I kinda' wondered what was up with your name all over everything.

Don't mind me. Carry on. I need to get to bed anyway (or perhaps gaze at some porno). Goodnight.

Oops! Sorry. I messed it up for you again, didn't I?

Delta Audiophile 2496.....

i really would like to test the converters of the 1010lt against the Audiophile to see how they stack up.....i like the price/features of the 1010lt......

Aardvark Direct Pro 2496. I have four of them. They sound great.

Moskus, how did the Inca turn out? I always wondered if they were any good....but didn´t know anyone who had one....:)

Soundblaster AWE32 with WaveBlaster
Digital Audio Labs Card D
GINA 20
Delta 1010

Only the latter 2 are still installed in a PC.

M-Audio audiophile 2496 for monitoring...

RME Hammerfall 9636 for digital I/O between the multitracks and the computer......

So the 1010 is probably used most widely?

That's a nice combo Blue.

I use a Delta 1010 as well. I love it so far, but I lurk on another forum just about Delta products and there are always tons of gripes about them. I haven't yet experience any of their difficulties, maybe their just not good with hardware?

>I lurk on another forum just about Delta products and there are always tons of gripes about them.

It's not as clean as other, more expensive products, but considering the sources I have at my disposal to record with it, it ROCKS for the money.

I'm talking about mics in a non-studio environment (live venues or my home studio) or a wave-table synth that uses 16 bit samples.

The Delta 1010 is da bomb. That's why you'll see so many people here that own one.

If you don't have cleaner sources than that to start with, you're yanking your own chain and spending too much money getting a cleaner card than the 1010.

I totally agree. I haven't figured out what they are all complaining about. I hope I never do, I love my Delta 1010 ;)

MOTU 2408 mkII and a 20 bit Gina laying around here somewhere.
