Hi everyone,
just wanted to say this is such an awesome forum. and I have learned a lot from here in the recent days.
I mainly sing to pre-mixed instruments ( karaoke). I am wondering will it improve the quality of my recording in anyway if I buy more or add a bit more expensive equipment. Or if I had to spend the money where should I invest for the most bang.
Here are the things i have
1. Shure beta 58A
2. M -audio Fast track - basic version
3. DAW-Ableton
4. Fostex monitor speakers
5. Headphones
Will getting a pre-amp make a difference to the quality of the vocal recording? I know there are some audio interface which comes with a pre amp.
The title should be "What should I do to improve my recording". I couldn't edit it sorry.
