What should i get?

I have a AMD 2400 with 1gig of DDR. I'm wanting to get a computer recording setup and I'm stuck on a couple of things.. Actually I can't decide what to get..

I've been looking at the Roland Studio Package Pro, Direct Pro Q10 or something along those lines.. What do you all prefer? I have about a 1500 dollar limit.. I do have all the mics already and chords.

I've heard great things about the pres in the Q10. It seems like a good deal to me.
