I sort of asked this on the Tascam forum and apologize for the cross post but I wasn't getting any replies. I recorded a song with two tracks onto my Tascam 424mkii and then finally figured out how to record it to my computer using Kristal. I guess that's mixing down, right?? (Sorry if it's a stupid question, but obviously I don't know what I'm doing). And I guess that is my question...what should I be doing? When I recorded the EQ was all set at five and then I just recorded onto the 424mkii. Then I transferred to the computer. There are some cool effects on Kristal, but can I use them to just affect one track of the song or will it affect both. Should I manipulate the EQ on my 424mkii as I record to the computer or use the mixer on Kristal. This is getting too long so just sufice to say I don't know what to do.
