what pre amp? =\

okay i need a pre amp that i can listen to music with on my regular Stereo headphones(1/8”)
and one that also has a simple Stereo microphone input (1/8”)

but i also want the same imputs as if im gonna be building a home recording studio

the resonse for this is because i think the sound card on my motherboard went out so i need to make an upgrade that would do me some good on boths ends of my setup!

okay i have no sound from my mother boards inboard sound so i was thinking of just buying a preamp that had regular headphone and mic jacks to sovle this problem....

would the product that i linked be a good investment?

Yeah, it's a good piece of equipment.

And no, it won't do the job of your 'motherboard inboard sound'. It will cost less to get your computer fixed than it will to buy something like that that you may or may not use to it's fullest capabilities.
