Which plugin will give me that overly used vocal effect made famous by Cher from her "believe in love" song. i was told that antares has one. what is the vocal effect called?

A vocoder will do it, too.

Actually, the Cher thing was a Vocoder. But Autotune will mangle audio in a simular way.

How is it done with a vocoder?

Hi all,
I know i know the effect has been used and abused but i want to try it out on some new tracks ( i swear i won't overdo it) i have. What vocoder plugin will let me do this and could someone walk me through?
