OK, so I built this kick-ass DAW that just chews up my current software (cakewalk HS) with plenty of headroom.

Just wondering, if you were going to throw some add-ins at a system, what would be your first choices? I already have auto-tune and a handful of other vst plugins. Music is largely acoustic - so fancy synths and weird flanges are second to a good banjo or fiddle sample and a solid reverb and compressor.

Also considering upgrading to Cubase or Audition. Any thoughts as to whether I should and what the benefits would be?

Thanks in advance!

When regarding plug-ins, definetely go for the waves: great EQ's, good compression and verb
