What other gear do i need?

hello,
ive bought an ibook with cuebase, and an M audio interface, i have a 6 ch. line mixer that i will use for drums, a head phone amp and a DI.
Is there anything else i should get before im able to get started?

Well - if your hobby is photography, then you're a long ways off......!

How about telling us what you're going to be recording so that we don't have to try and guess at which out of 100 million units of available gear would best suit your application??!??!

Just a thought.......... :cool:
 
I'm going to be recording a three piece band, just drums, a few guitar tracks, bass and vox. any input would be appreciated thanks,

How many inputs are on that M-Audio unit? If you plan on recording all the instruments at once (or even just drums onto separate tracks), you're going to need an interface with more than a couple of inputs.

A pair of monitors would be nice. Maybe a microphone or two.
 
Well, i have monitars and all the mics i'll need. The M-audio has two inputs. Originaly i was going to try to just put the drums into the mixer, then eq it on that, then i would put the mixer out to the m-audio. do you think that would work?
