What is the accepted (stuff that actually works) type of deadening material for studio use. I would like to make this as sound proof as possible.

Where's your studio? In a spare bedroom or.... Be careful if it is a spare room not to deaden it to much if you are micing instuments your room and your recordings may sound somewhat dead. I have had this problem before and aliitle is good to much is a bad thing.

I have used some studio foam in the corners and alillte in the sealing corners to get rid of flutter and some bass problems.

my 2 cents

Evilphil - you've posted in the wrong forum - try Studio Building and Display - There's heaps of info available if you search as well.

cheers
