Hi, i'm the new guy here. i'll skip the formalities and just shoot it:
i'm thinking about getting a finale 2007 for my own home studio.
the system requirements for the program are:
Windows 2000/XP. Garritan sounds supported in Windows XP only.
CD or DVD-ROM drive.
800x600 minimum monitor resolution.
Minimum 256MB RAM (1GB or more recommended for optional use of Garritan sounds / Kontakt Player: more RAM = more available sounds). 200MB hard drive space required for software and user manual. An additional 800MB is required for all Garritan sounds.
so, what i figure i would need is some more ram and some kind of a midi keyboard with it with something like 4 octaves. i think i'd also need a new soundcard, but i have no idea what to get nowadays. also what kind of motherboard do i need ?
i also need to be able to record guitars and possibly drums, bass and vocals etc., so i need low latency and plenty or hard drive space.
oh and one peculiarity is that i'd need a keyboard i can tune to diffrent intonations. (i.e. Just Intonation)
so, any suggestions?
