what kind of guitar should I get?

the sz isnt bad, but for about the same price you can get something from the schecter c-1 series, which will beat the hell out of the sz.

Yeah, I haven't played the Ibanez guits, but lots of folks love them. So my comment about Godins being the best is based on my Godin LG-P90, which I have compared to (and prefer over) standard Strats and Teles and LPs. It's just a clean, no nonsense machine made with the finest materials and craftmenship.

...Oh, and it plays and sounds fab too. :D
 
I'm crazy for the godin lg with p-90s, although the humbucker one is also really nice, I already have a Gibson Sg, so my next guitar will probably be something with p-90s, which will probably be the lg-p90.
So I further expand my suggestion: for a p90 guitar in that price range, go with the godin
