What is this sound called?

Alright so i have been searching for this particular sound for so long but i can't seem to find it anywhere & i really need it for the beat im currently making. It is the sound that always starts before a chorus. Here is an example: (i think it has something to do with a break)

(the sound starts at 0:09 and its some sort of increasing drum cymbal that leads to the chorus or something)
 
I hear a snare roll, and a reverse cymbal. I'm assuming the reversed cymbal is the sound you're looking for. So, yea, you can take any cymbal, crash , even hats and reverse them to get this simple yet effective sound most commonly used for breaks, build ups, bridges etc..
