Hi every body, i'm asking about the best chorus effect vst which can be plugged in with sonar 8 on windows xp. Thanks a lot.

I would say that depends on what you are looking for. There are many of those and many different ways of going about that type of effect. My favorite, which is not necessarily a 'chorus' by definition, would be the Soundtoys Micro Shift.

What is your budget? You asked for the best...

agree with your there, that microshift sounded gorgeous when I had it on trial

I agree that there is no "best" anything. That being said, and budget aside, if I need a pitch shift/chorus, I'm going with Eventide H3000.

And that is only $100 for VST. I may just pick that up and see. :D

I use the Stillwell Ozzifier fairly often for vocals (it's free with Reaper). It's a doubling/delay VST that gives a slight chorus effect - useful if you want something subtle. At the other end of the spectrum I sometimes use CloneEnsemble. It can produce some truly strange sounds, maybe more suited for a 1960's SciFi flick. But mixed into the background it can give some nice depth to choral vocals. There are also a bunch of freeware Leslie VST's out there.

Bluecat Chorus is pretty good as well for a free one, I've been using that a lot lately
