help me!
what do you sugesset i use for a professional audio editor. I have wavelab but i don't like it.....I have also dabbled with cool edit pro. but is there another audio editor that is very easy to use and is extreamly good that it makes your music sound professional?

A good editor won't make up for bad musicianship and won't make crappy recordings sound professional.
Wavelabs is considered a professional and one of the best audio-editors. I suggest you learn to use it. You could also try to use the internal Cubase editor, which you open by double clicking the tracks.

I've always liked Cool Edit for a editor, although the CEP plug ins suck for the most part. If you want to make a good investment, go get your self the Waves Native Gold Bundle or bundle of your choice for the shiznits in processing. They've got the best effects, EQ's, sonic maximizers, compressions, reverbs, what have you. That's what you need. And then you need to know how to use them. Hang around here, read, ask questions, listen to tracks in the clinic, and you'll learn.

Good luck.

I use Sound Forge 6.0, which is very powerful, but does not have the please-please-please-make-my-vocals-stop-sucking plugin yet. Maybe when 8.0 comes out...

I would definately have to go with Steinberg and Nuendo on this one. It seems to be better than the mighty protools even.

I've always liked cooledit, but SoundForge will do the same thing.

I would say that a .wav editor is basically a .wav editor once you reach a certain level.
