Ok, I have read many threads here looking for the right card for my situation. I play electric bass through a eurorack mixer or sansamp bass di, into my vibra 128 (similar to ensoniq I am told).
My needs areas follows:

1. zero latency for software effects using sonar's live input (elec bass guitar)
2. basic, I mean basic recording for mucking around with ideas, loops and stuff.
3. Maybe 2 ins for guitars, mikes, no keyboards.
4. Gaming too.

Upon reading countless threads I am leaning towards audiophile, or delta 410. But, for gaming too are they good to go?

Thanks,

Apples and oranges -- soundcards for gaming have little consideration for quality audio....

And cards made for serious recording don't accommodate gaming.......

I have an Aardvark Q10 and a creative audigy 2 platnium on my pc.

I've got a 1010lt got rid of the Creative soundcard, been playing games fine.
