Nice pre. For the interface, you can spend $50 or $5000, but in any case you're gonna have to provide some more info if you want helpful results... How many inputs do you need, ie simultaneous tracks recording? How many outputs do you need, ie do you need to integrate with rack fx? How much $$ u wanna spend? Do you need one with midi? Do you need more than one monitor mix? SPDIF or other digital out's? Do you prefer a mixer with usb/firewire or a rackmount unit? Do you have a DAW software already, or are you open to whatever?

Bytheway: Most male rap/hip-hop vocals are done with a EV RE-20 or Shure SM-7 - DYNAMIC MIC, not a condenser....
