If your a sampler, you need deep crates....If not you need some real nice sounds, but most important, I'd say some good drums

you just need some equipment...what do you want to work with Hardware or software?

Hardware- you can get a MPC, Triton, Roland 909, XL/MP-7 to create your beats...if you plan on sampling the MPCs are the way to go..but you can get a pure sampler ..I dont remeber what the name (SP1200 i think..)of it right now..since I dont sample I dint have a the need to know..but do a search to find sampler

Software- Reasons, Fruity Loops, Storm, Cubase, ProTools, Logic, Adobe Audition, Sampletank and many many others to

its all about what you want to do and how much you got to spend on it..
