What I did before I started entering HR.com song contests...

Heya..

Having entered the two comps now with my Jongleurs material, I thought perhaps some of my original Armistice material (there was originally a point behind the name...) might be of interest to some of you.

I'm not looking for mix feedback, I've just ripped these of a CD that's probably 8 or 9 years old now... just thought you might like something new to listen to.

I was trying to do instrumental guitar stuff that wasn't a guitar wankfest and could be listened to without necessarily noticing that there were no words. All sorts of styles, not normally rock as such, but good music anyway IMHO...

restrained, tasteful, elegant, interesting. There is No Way Back from Here is a cool instrumental. You've developed a lot of interesting textures using just the guitars, and I think you've developed a nice structure on this one.

Transit of Venus started as I was typing . . . and that's pretty neat as well!

Sounds great armistice - bright but nor overly, nice reverb choice.....
