These are the lyrics, sorry if they're a bit muddy.

A Speaker
<part a>
(how deep can you get before your soul collapses)
not stupid just lazy
time to pull my head out of my hazy
concentrations coalesce to a point that shifts from east to west
around the areas of greatest stress
creating a field (x2)
of solution
this is my new years resolution:
by pure determination I shall arrive, alive
I'll get to the point and I will survive
<part b>
(how deep can you get befopre your soul collapses)
the mood is clear, it's over
the battle's done
all that hard work musta paid off someone
just don't ask who won
start over
rest assured it was all endured
the bandwagon cured
everyone in it
now we're really gonna win it
to pure to be a lure this time
(as I draw the line)
the symmetry seeker
knows the side that's weaker
while force is a feeling
that's calculated by the speaker

Hope this helps subtractor, thanks for your interest.

I like the hell out of this but then I'm drunk..... I like it but the vocals are still way too low. I'm too drunk to say anything else......urp!

Way too low? Did it update? I'll try again.

Ok, I actually listened to the new mix on the computer speakers/mp3 and I'm not really happy. I kinda rushed it. I'm gonna retrack the vocals this weekend and repost it. Any suggestions still welcome.

I don't know about "stoner rock"... I think Fu Manchu and Queens of the Stone Age when I think "stoner rock". I don't know, some bastardized species of alternative I s'pose. Whatever it is, I like it.

You've heard enough about the low vocals so I won't pound that point, and that's the only one I had. Good call on mixing real drums in there :D. Lots of ear candy too.

damn there is just to many freakin seeds in this shit, where's that punk ass bitch:mad: ..Oh hey! Nice recording, loved the bass guitar tone you got on this. Vocals sound a lot like "Roger Waters" could of been on any of their recordings and fit right in. Great stuff "post more"!

Don't know what genre it's in...although it kind of sounds like something that would be on a bootleg pixies recording!

I like all the sounds you've got going on, and I like the drum rhythms a lot. The bass is very nicely done! The doubling on the vocals works...although it did give them a sort of 80's ozzie quality.

Good work!

Slackmaster 2000

very cool...

...almost reminds me of Sam's stuff... ;)
...crossed with Jeap's stuff...

Good rhythms and textures. Yeah, 2nd the "Pixies" comment, since that bassline is WAAAY "Pixies"... like something from "Surfer Rosa"...

Nice song jake...

...now do "Classical Gas" ;)
