what gear should i purchase?

im a singer songwriter looking to start a home studio on a budget ($600-$800). i am looking to record my solo stuff mainly acoustic and vocals with some live bass, live keyboard, and computer drum accompaniment. im just looking for a decent sound just to get my feet wet and add more later being there is such a small budget. im looking for suggestions on what software, pre-amp, mixer, microphones, audio interface, soundcard, drum software, etc.. to purchase just to get me rolling on making some decent demos. please help!
