Sorry, tried to listen but I cant fooking stand Robbie Williams.

Until the song kicks in, I don't hear anything on the lead vox. When the two part harmony kicks in, yes, I do hear a bit of grunge on the lead vox.

To me, it sounds like really pushing a tube mic preamp hard by pumping the gain considerably.

This effect could be done using Camelphat plugin, rerouting a vocal line through a tube preamp, or possibly using a guitar distortion plugin. The key here is making it subtle, and blending processed and unprocessed tracks together.

I think it is just a crappy made video, not an intentional effect on the original track.

Sorry, didn't mean to offend. It's probably a nice tube pre.

It's not about me - it's more about you. Think about it.;)

Yep, seems like just a little tube saturation... or a lot. I tried a few plugins, even some guitar-rig-sims, but so far nothing really satisfied me.

"MDA Combo" (free vst) has some nice overdrive-tone on the 4x12 setting, but then again it models speaker sound, which doesn't really sound that good on vocals.

there could be saturation or something on the vocal or maybe it's that lo-fi sound you're after in which case you could try making an mp3 of the vocal using a low bit rate say 64kbps (add saturation/overdrive aswell).
