#10 in the MP3 Gallery. 1737 KB 192Kbps.mp3

This one was written during the last solar eclipse of the millenium. I never actually got to see it because of the latitude of my residence, but that's alright. I'll take a late December 75 deg. F. beautiful sunny day over an interesting planetary pinball shot any day of the week.

From what I could D/L it's sounds cool! Keeps bombing out between 40K 200K, just can't get the whole thing... :(

Got it after only three attempts...just kept replacing it each time til the thing went through completely instead of 20 seconds......this one made me feel it...the beginning sweet, then that quasi Steve Winwood style melodic drama from about :36 thru :53, then back to the beginning riff....I liked it a lot.....gibs

Howzit Drstawl,

Well, I just spent about 25 minutes listening to a bunch of your tunes at your website. Jumbo Blonde - gotta be my favorite! #10 was the first one I listened to, though, and I gotta admit that I was totally unprepared for what I heard. After reading the description, I was expecting an easy listening, spacey, electronica type sound. After the first few seconds, though, I realized that this was going to be somewhat of a departure from what I'm used to listening to.

AS I GOT FURTHER into the tune, though, it started sounding pretty good, so good that I played it back 4 times before checking out some of the other tunes. By the way, your guitar sounds great. How are you recording it, piezzo, mike, or both? Sounds real fat and ballsy.

Well, thanks for the new experience in sound for me. I will go back to your site to listen to the rest of your stuff and broaden my horizons.

Well Lee, comimg from you I'm really pleased. I sort of expect anybody to be blown away by my synth compositions. Nobody's been there and nobody goes there. No easy listening here, but that's not to say it's painful, just different.
That's cool with me. :)

As to the guitar stuff. I use a pair of Rode NT-1 mics in a stereo configuration about a foot from the guitar pointing toward the 12th fret through a dbx 386 preamp into a TASCAM CDRW-5000. Then I import it digitally into my PC for editing and encoding.

You'll probably like Aqueous Asphyxiation since it's the same guitar recorded the same way.

Emeric and Gibs. Thanks for giving it a try despite the problems you've been having getting my stuff. I promise you I won't rest until this has been resolved by my ISP.
