I am getting a C-1 for Xmas!! Also an awesome custom mic case made by my neighbor who has great skillz with wood. One modeled after the a 12 space SKB or something. Then I bought myself 2 B-1's and $139 worth of cables and the musicians freind 6 stand deal with a bag. Santa is great this year indeed.

Now if I only had the money to get socks and underwear!!

My Christmas was a matched pair of MC012's and a DBX 386 stereo preamp and A/D converter. I'll probably get to play with them a couple of days (haven't gotten the cables and stands in yet) before putting them back in the box so my parents can wrap them and "give" them to me when I go home for our family Christmas. :D



edit - I can't speel "preamp" :D

A couple of matched akg414 and a couple of matched mc012. If not possible, a soundfield MKV would be nice. Some monitors would also be appreciated like Dynaudio.... Got a longer list, but those above will do.
 
I'm a man of simple tastes. All I need is an Elam 251 in excellent condition, and a Manley Vox Box. Oh, and top of the line Genelecs would be nice too.

































OK, I guess I can live with that Oktava MC-012 to finish my stereo pair.
 
I want, and will get (from my own pocket, but what the..) a nice new computer. P4 2.4GHz 533MHz FSB, ASUS P4S533, 512MB Crucial PC2700 RAM, and either a GF4 Ti4200 or a Radeon 9500 Pro.

Then.. I wonder how much dough I can squeeze out of mum..

Especially that RNP and the grand piano. Oh, throw a Great River in there, some of thjose vintage Fenders and the Gefell mics (all of them).

More than anything, I'd like the hearing back in my left ear. :D
 
Dear Santa......

For christmas..... I want two new ear drums.... and all those little dealies in the ear that make the sound work good. The ones I've got have made it 43 years.... but I think they've been pretty stressed and abused.

And while we're asking.... I've got a bad tendon in the middle bend of my left index finger. Been shot twice with steroids. Next step is surgery once it completely quits working. Think you can bring me a new one of those while you're at it???

Santa.....I'll just buy the studio stuff I need if you can take care of these other things:)

I know now that I want a new brain, with a "Master Production" area. Pleeeease put at least one vintage tube in it for a smooth sound.

My fingers are a little bit to short.....can this be corrected too?

....Don't forget the Gefells and the Strat :)
