The song has good melody too it. And the playing is pretty solid. The only thing id comment on is the vocalist. Hes flat at times and i think he needs more "aggression" in his voice during the harder parts..Guitar prob needs to be down in the mix aswell
 
Yeah, the guitars are a bit loud. But there is hardly any bass. I understand what to do a bit more in the mix down. The guitars should be lower than i used to think and have less high end and a wee bit more lo end, and the rest of the low end that the guitars dont use is where the bass guitar slots in. This means the guitars and bass have there own eq space and makes them both more promenent without having to take over the mix.
The singer is a really good singer, but this was recorded live in like 2 takes. The vocal needs to be boosted a little, but im not sure that the vocalist should be heavier in his singing as the band "SEROTONE" we are in is not a real heavy band. Might suggest it though to see how it sounds. Anythings worth a try eh.
