I know the guitar is a Wolfgang, one of Eddie's custom guitars built for him by Peavey.
The pick-up keeps getting referred to as the "Wolgang" in all the info I have read on these guitars. I don't think you can buy these pick-ups separately (brand new anyway). They are exclusive to the Peavey Wolfgang Custom Shop.

That's what I thought...single coil in a double slot?

Pretty sure Tony is right, that it's a Charvel logo...I tried to blow it up, but it got sucky real quick...

to tell you guys the truth. that pickup is made in my own personal custom shop. who wants one? oh, and don't pay any attention to the made in taiwan print on the bottom of the pickup. that's just a part that i order to save costs. who's in? :D

Well, that's why I'm askin because I've got a couple peavey's here now. No customs but I thought they were just flash-n-fancy add-on units. I've got an arched and a "special" flat top. Both USA's. Both have the Duncan black-n-white EVH pups. They're killer geets but the neck pup in this pic is a mystery to me. Was almost wondering if it's a sustainer pup?

Petrucci reference for no reason.

"These pick-ups were hand wound by Tony Blair.

Yes. That's right. I didnn't even have to ask him twice, I just told him and he did it."

I have hunted around for info on that particular guitar he is playing and can't find much info on it! :(

It's some version of the Sustainer that Floyd Rose (or somebody) came up with right before Kramer went bankrupt.

And no, I don't really know much about how they work, but my guess is it is something like an Ebow.

According to the link that True has posted it appears that Fernandes made that Sustainer pick-up.

Damn, beat me to it.

my guess would be a fernandez sustainer pickup,......but what would help is if the picture showed the tone controls of the guitar too..........usually the sustainer pickup comes with a toogle switch that needs to be installed, if the pic showed one....it would be a dead giveaway thats is a fernandez pickup.

i've asked this before and i'm asking it again : wtf is eddy van halem??????

Dude...it's like this...When Eddie walks in, someone in the back of the room says "all rise"...and everyone does! :D
