Still not clear on who this is?

Feable Weiner?

Seems pretty pro...how'd you land the job Darth?

And where did you record? Don't know anything about your room/house/studio...whatever.

Any more info would be great! Thanks...

really nice work

The guys are good friends of mine, and we just kinda stumbled upon the project. I liked their music, they asked me to record it, and it all just happened! It worked out perfectly.

We recorded mostly in their house: a garage and a bedroom for most of the tracking. All of it done on a Roland VS2480 and a computer.

You can check out the whole record at www.feableweiner.com . It's there for the taking! They actually opened up for Jimmy Eat World here in Nashville last weekend, and it was a great show! Sold out in a week and a half!

I'm glad that you guys liked it....I hope to post some newer tunes soon....

How did u get that gtr sound?

I desperately want to know how did u get that gtr sound on the intro. I just can´t get that big sound from one guitar (I'm talking about the gtr that does feedback and starts the song, the one on the left channel, not about the left+right combination). It's so big, this gotta be a stereo mic'ed guitar, or maybe its the well known trick ..pan 100% left, then copy the same track and delay it a bit, and pan it somewhat 60-70% left..(although I never got that BIG sound) :)

Pls tell us about the guitar sound and post processing !!

Thxs!!

Pete..err sorry, Nico's my real name :)

yeah, I would like to know, too! What amp, mic, fx?

Sounds awsome

Hey guys...sorry it took me so long to reply...I thought this thread was dead!

The guitar sound is a really shitty no name guitar, through a Peavey amp, with a 57 about an inch from the grill pointed in the between the center of the speaker and the edge of the speaker. No fancy delay tricks or anything like that.

Technically, this should sound horrible, but it sounded way better than his Marshal did!

I didn't use any fx on it, and the only eq was rolling of the extreme low end. I used an Aphex 107 mic pre.

Thanks for listening, guys!

Well, fortunately for mi it isn't dead yet.

Great song, great performance, great recording and mixing. Preety professional. How much did you charged them?

Flapo...the agreement that we worked out is based on future income, and I'm really not supposed to discuss it with anyone...let's just say it's perfectly fair, and we are all happy with it!

Glad you like it!
