Yes, I like this.
The drums sound great and so does the vocals.

Do you remember what settings you used on the RCL to "compress the piss out of them"?

Also, the kickdrum sounds a little like it's trigged, is it?

This was real cool.

I am a huge power pop fan, and this tune nailed it for me.

I really liked the Lead Vocal mix and performance.

The guitar intro was a great wake-up.
I liked the way it doubled quickly.

Not much else to criticize, so I'll just say great job.

The snare, kick, and toms all sound triggered or sampled to me. Don't get me wrong, they sound great. I do the same thing with Sound Replacer in Protools. The snare rolls give it away. Is that what you did Darth? Email me, I want to buy a CD.
 
That's a really good sounding, tightly compressed recording. I'm impressed with the drum recording mainly. Live drums are not something I could even attempt to do.

Catchy song also. This sounds a lot like what I'm hearing all over the radio these days. Very marketable. Maybe there's room for you on the dial.

Dude...pretty cool tones man. I like the vox alot. My only suggestion would be to brighten the snare a bit. This would sound great with a good mastering engineer giving the mix a once over. You going to release this? Hope so.

Its sounds like you did not use any reverb though.

just thought

that it was you, but checking out the website its a cool new band. So thats why it reminded me of those American Pie soundtrack bands. It is one. Good show bro
 
I dont normally here this type of stuff. But i like the tune. The mixing is perfect .
