I played a couple of Deans when I was in the local music store last week. They are good looking guitars and play pretty well. The frets were finished nicely, and the overall guitar seems to be very well built. I was not shopping though...im a strat man.
I had a gibson SG that played really good (for a fat necked Gibson that is)...I sold it last month. I think the Deans I played were far better playing than the Gibson I sold.

I especially like the Spalted Maple. Anybody know which big guitar chains carry Deans? I don't remember seeing them anywhere I shop.
