well put in plain english H/W efx sound better then plugs thats probably a big reason why they cost more too...

but since you talkin plugs and since you have waves
get a UAD-1 and a Powercore DSP card and get the PSP vintage warmer...everything else is pretty redundant even though some plugs do do things better then others not by much though...

Actually, the above in plain English would read:

". . .hardware effects sound better than plug-ins."

:)

You really were asking about the best plugins period, right?

*McDSP EQs and compressors, analog channel
*Sony Oxford EQ with GML option
*Sony Oxford Dynamics
*URS A Series and N Series EQs

can someoen tell me what programs is the dx version of antares auto tune 3 compadible with and how to install it i cannot figure it out

is it compadible with fruityloops studio or cool edit

I have AutoTune running in Cool Edit 2.0 and Cakewalk. Don't know about Fruityloops.

I think there is a problem getting autotune to work in graphical mode in cep2.

Get the UAD-1 Project Pack with the Pultec Pro. Then buy the LA2A and Fairchild add-ons.
My 2 cents.
You won't be sorry.

im new to all this recording stuff, but i got a link to that free izotope vinly plug in, and that things pretty cool ive been able to do some pretty creative things with it inside of pro tools...
