I know of only the one in 2001 with Ludacris. They do single city shows and shit, but that isn't a tour.

Rock acts draw way bigger crowds than hip-hop acts. Dave Matthews sells out stadiums, rap acts can hardly fill an auditorium.
Sales wise they are probably pretty close, but tour wise there is no competition. Hustle wise, rock acts work way harder.
