After leaving the Navy, I played in bands for a long time. One of them was the Plain Brown Wrapper, and for a couple of years we were pretty busy.
During that time, there was a lot of dissent and protest over the war in VietNam. Some will remember, the rest can watch the History Channel. My kids have been bugging me for a long time to post some of the original stuff that we did. This is a live cut, from around '72 or so.
Don't bother critiqueing the mix or lyrics, it's history and the band has been outabiz for almost 30years. Listen and enjoy!!!! its at
nowhere radio/Plain Brown Wrapper/ track 05. The title, though not listed is "BOMB".

Can you post the direct link - I can't seem to find any songs under your band profile......THX

Hi '57
I'm not sure how to do that. Just go to www.nowhere radio. The Band is listed as a new group on the opening page, click on Plain Brown Wrapper, then Discography, then singles, then track 05. As soon as I figure out what the ink is , I'll post it for all.

thanks

OK - I think I missed it the first time, I found the track. Now I'm getting an error from Window Media Player when I click on the play button (hi-fi or lo-fi).

Wonder what that's all about? Error message attached - cut down to fit limit of 64k.

Soundclick looks like a pretty cool site. Straight to your page, no hassle. I have dialup , takes forever to download but I will listen when I have time to sit and watch the progress (lol)

I get the same results as ido1957.
I'm interested, esp give the time frame. Can you see if it can be fixed?
