What can I do with this room?

To make it better I suppose. I have some loud speakers that I'm also going to be using to check my mixes. I'm getting some new nearfields pretty soon...as soon as I decide between Warfdale's and Tannoy Reveal's. I am also upgrading my sound card and installing a couple new hard drives.

But anyway...about the room. I don't want to do any modifying(tearing down walls) or building. But I would like some suggestions on placement of my desk, monitors, loud speakers, etc. Also, any other modification suggestions...

The vocal booth is in the closed closet. I have foam on the walls in the closet.

It's hard to tell from the pics how the room is dimension wise but it seems you are limited by the doors. It makes it hard to get the desk centered on the short wall. I have read somewhere around here that you should put your desk on the short wall with your monitors pointing into the length of the room.

Oh and I would get rid of that poster. :D

Here are the measurements for the room. The little inlet part for the window goes back an additional 2.5 ft...fyi.

Sorry, I happen to like them. That should have no bearing on anything said here anyway. And I don't have it just to have it. They signed it.

Just kidding about the poster. :D And it's very cool that it's signed.

It looks like you have it set up the way I would do it. Of course that's if I'm looking at the pics right. The fact that it kinda square could be a problem.

When looking at the measurements, the desk is at the top wall facing the window. The "vocal booth" would be over my right shoulder when facing the computer.
