Hey everyone what's up?

I have a quick question regarding what cables to use. If you have a keyboard or module with unbalanced outputs and need to connect them to balanced inputs what type of cable should be used?

Thanks for any help,
J

and have a di box in the middle of them

really ignor me i'm an ass

they do make that cable, just go to your local music store and ask
or get an instrument cable, a di box, and a mic (xlr) cable (option no 2 is better)

You said it, bruddah...

It won't hurt much to use a full TRS cable--one w/a TRS plug on both ends--because in 99% or more of the unbalanced inputs or outputs on devices/synths/mixing boards the ring is shunted to ground. The result will be an unbalanced connection but it won't harm either device.

i think the inplication is that the keyboard modual has 1/4 outputs
and the pre only has xlr, not neurotech (or whatever)

Thanks for the replies. They are greatly appreciated.

Take care,
J
