what are the best cassettes for use with a 488?

I love everything about recording on the 488 but lately I'm starting to hate it when people hear the hiss and instantly write my music off as "lowfi". I don't think I'll mind limited frequency ranges I just want there to be hardly any noise at all. my local music store only carries one brand of tape which very noisy so what should I buy online? also is it true that shorter tapes are less noisy than the longer tapes?

doh! just found the previous thread! Ive used the tdks, and the gold ones(maxwell?) actually i think my problem is that Im currently using the silver(90 min) which i didnt realize are not recommended for 488 use. now I just need to figure out where can i get those gold ones again!
