About 3 weeks ago I bought a new Tascam Portastudio 414 mk 11 back in 2005.I love that thing. It the epitome of simplicity.Because I was having trouble buying cassettes I decided it was time to upgrade.I bought a Zoom R16.That turned out to be faulty.Returned that and bough a Tascam DP-03 digital recorder/inbuilt cd burner. Not easy. Its set up to do most things are difficult.Right now I'm tempted to sell it and buy something simple. All I want to do is record my own songs I've written then upload them to pc and burn to cd.I did that with all my 4 track recordings from cassette so they are not only on computer but I made cd copies. That was easy thanks to the 414.
Here's my question:
What is the simplest digital recorder out in the market that can handle 2 microphones and a stage piano? What brand are you using that you have found to be easy? If you have the Tascam DP03,are you happy with it?
Thanks.
