if u guys can plz post a link that will be good monitors for me to buy

50 to 90 dollars!!??!?! Yikes!! Yeah bro,...headphones are the way to go! ha ha

Seriously,..I dont think I've ever seen any studio monitors for that price. You would be better off to save your money untill you can afford some,... at least the cheaper end of the spectrum,..reference monitors.

While your saving do research on studio monitoring. You will find that if you monitor your recordings through headphones it will be much like shooting yourself in the foot.

On the other hand,..if youre not too concerned about it right now and just want to get started,...sony makes some kick ass headphones for under a hundred bucks.

Later,..

this may sound hilarious but you already have pc speakers right? well if you do...use them and save up some more money until you get about 250-300. i used a set of creative labs speakers that came with my gateway computer on my first cd and some cyber acoustics 4.1 speaker system i got at circuit city for 59 bucks on the second cd. its not advised but you get a better over all picture than if you just used headphones

Sounds like a X-mas gift request !
Perhaps the m-audio series.....there $199-$300

ight thanks guys

Given that your nom de plume is accurate and you're indeed fourteen years old then allow me to congratulate you on an admirable ability to focus on your dreams at such a tender age. I appreciate, truly, that you have never been older. But, unfortunately there are those of us who are MUCH older. Such is fate. One day you also will be in our shoes, God willing and your testoerone level does not compel you to behave in some egregiously stupid manner that results in a premature death. As an older gentleman who has lived to father eight children I will presume to give you some advice:

Nobody cares for an ass, especially one who has little, if anything, of value to provide at this point of his/her life. The only asses who get away with being asses are those who make people money. For example, Russell Crowe.

Nobody much wants to spend their time deciphering bad english, there are far to many 'dyslexic' hip hop producers on this board already.

You may not appreciate constructive criticism, few people do, but it is of extraordinary value and it would be a credit to you and your family if you were to learn to accept it graciously.

fo shizzle my nizzle

wheelema, werent we all asses at 14? i do agree that people should take the time to spell the words out correctly or as close to their ability. as for all the "wanna be hiphop producers"...i dont think they know any better or don't really care if they do. kids get beat up and harassed for speaking proper english in the hood.

"A product of their enviornment, they are." Yoda

thansk dudes

thanks but what did i say that made me not being able to take critiscim

Well, I don't know about you but my Mom says I was a perfect angel (ha ha) and certainly I do not think that Mr. Kid is a ass, far from it.

And, you know, you're right about being too harsh. Poor english is so endemic on so many bulletin boards that I shouldn't pick on Mr. Kid; I would rather he became a great musician than an english teacher!

For $50 bucks you can get one of Creative Labs 2.1 systems. Although calling the "monitors" would be a joke, I bet mixing on the would be sligthly preferrable to headphones, if for no other reason than that headphones can more easily damage your hearing. :p

It's ampngst the best speaker systems you'll get for $50, at least, thats' for sure.
