Hi all.

Lurked for a while and learned a lot from this great forum.

I am about to purchase several microphones all of which have been given much bandwidth here. This of course means I will have to buy some more mic cables.

I am thinking of buying bulk wire and connectors and just solder. However, I HATE soldering and considering I am not going to be making dozens of pairs of cables, I wouldn't mind buying premade ones if they are of high quality and reasonable price. If not, I will go the bulk wire route.

Where do you guys buy your cables? I was going to buy some Mogami bulk wire at Markertek.com but there are a few different kinds. Which ones do you guys use?

Also they sell their own brand of mic cables. Are they high quality?

Any other places/brands you guys recommed (please be specific with the type of wire)?

Thanks a bunch all.

Thanks for the reply, Bruce, but as I mentioned when I went to the Markertek site there were several different Mogami cables: standard, quad, flexible, Negumi............. Which one do most people buy?

Also, are the ready made Markertek brand premade mic cords of good quality?

Thanks
