Phantom power on a PG57? I guess that gives us an idea of how new you are.
I'm just teasing. But seriously, you don't require phantom power for that mic, just a pre-amp. It'll work as a vocal mic, too. Until you get a better one at least.
Basically, so long as you have your mic, a cable to connect to the Fast Track, a USB cable to connect the fast track to your computer (it should come with your Fast Track), and a general understanding of how to setup the inputs in Audacity to come from your Fast Track, you'll be golden. =]
You need to read the various sticky threads and associated publications up the top so you'll get a better understanding of what you're trying to do.
Your mic is a dynamic and as such doesn't require phantom power. Condensers require phantom power. It will do for a starter mic for vocals, but don't expect the world.
