The vox sound good to me, only they sound like they need more compression to take away some of the dynamics. They seem to jump out too hard and overpower the mix for me. The drums sound too muffled, like they were full of pillows or something. I'm not hearing any tone from them, just a dead flap/thud. They sound recorded very well, it just seems like the drums probably didn't sound good to begin with. Just my 2 cents.

Nice song, very melodic and catchy. I like it a lot.

Yup Id agree with the drums...they sound boxy and very dull..I didn't like the cymbal at all, if you cant retrack them then at least some EQing and reverb would maybe help (the beat was perfect for the song btw)...but I thought the vocals and everything else were spot on and I really enjoyed the song melody and guitar work :)

+ 1 about the drums... this is only the mix right (no mastering)? the volume is a little low.
I hear the kick and bass are not well synchronized.
Vocals sound goooooooood :D.

Keep Rocking

Thanks guys

I'll get the oh's and room mic up and pull out some mud on that snare. This is mastered, but it's transferred from a disc to wave, and for whatever reason my burning software always pulls it down about .2 dbfs

may i ask how exactly did you master this??... or how the process went?..

Thanks guys. I used ozone 3 for mastering. A little bit of the tube exciter, mild compression and that spacial thingy ;) Then I just catch the peaks with the maximizer.

The level might be a little low as it's transferred from CD and for whatever reason my media player seems rip the mp3 at a lower level.

Great work. Love the song and the mix. Real drums? Is this a band or is it you? Either way great job.

Thanks onestu

Real drums, real band.

No musicians were harmed during the recording of this tune :)
