also you might want to check out guitar tracks pro 3.
looks pretty complete. probably more features than you need.
i dont know about operational aspects.
i think 3 is limited to 32 tracks ? might want to check that out ?
you might want to also check out multitrackstudio.com and try the demo
to compare effects etc or what i use - powertracks which is 48 tracks and is cheaper, does 24 bit and has a large number of fx built in including lots of drum, bass, vocal and guitar audio fx settings as well as comp/lim .as well as master fx across the master bus.
but i DONT want to get into a software platform war as in the past.
just try the demo from pgmusic and make your own decision..
one thing that i use will allow you to do that the others dont from what i see is it has a tc helicon feature built in for creating vocal harmonies from a vocal track and a slew of other features i dont have time to mention.
recording and audio editing is superbly easy.just be open minded and give it a try. if you use a excellent sound card with great convertors youll get as pretty tracks as anything higher priced. read the reviews at the site and talk to users on the forum.peace
