wharfedale 8.2a or tr6?

Hello people, i`m looking into studio monitors and narrowed it down to these two: event tr6 (used, but as new) and wharfedale 8.2a`s. any thoughts? suggestions? any comment is welcomed.
i know this forum is hot for the 8.2a`s but i`ve never heard them, just about them, are they really that good?

I went from crappy boom box speakers to the Wharfedales.I love 'em,but I can't compare them to other monitors.Doubt this helps much,huh?

No not really, but thank you anyway. i`ll wait for some more "educated" comments. i`m in a real dilema, as i`ll have to order the warfedales from deepwater (which gave me a great price) and i live in europe, while the second hand events are right here. it`s just that the comments about the 8.2a`s were all so good here, and i`ve heard mixed views about the tr6`s which i always considered quality monitors. plus, event is a well known monitor manufacturer and nobody i spoke to even knew wharfedale makes monitors.

i didn´t hear the events but hear the wharfedales with KRK RP | Fostex | Alesis | M-Audio & other Monitors. Did buy mine active 8.2´s for 300 euro ( pair ) in a german shop.

I need to compare them to a set of Event bas 20-20s. Those are what I had in my last room and I have the opportunity to have them again, but I was thinking that for half the money the 8.2a's might be nice. Maybe i could buy a SP mic or something. Any one compared them to a set of pricier monitors? I really liked my 2020bas...

I have a pair of Tr-6's but never heard the wharfendales so I guess I can't help out either...
