Hey guys, its been a while since I posted, but I'm happy to be back here!

Many of you are probably thinking "Well, who the f... is this guy??" :)

I remember when I use to post my bands old home recordings in here, I always got some cool feedback and sometimes some hate... but I really appreciated that people actually took the time to listen to it, I will always be thankful.

Now I have some good news!,

First, I want to tell you a little bit about the achievements of my band, in order to lure you maybe a little bit more into listening to our material:

- First thing people want to know: What kind of music is it!? : Think of a mix between Sevendust, Incubus, Stone Temple Pilots, and Alice in Chains...those are our heavy influences.

- Second, we independently produced, recorded (IN OUR HOME STUDIO!), released ( Nov. 2007), and distribute our album. We are currently applying a DIY(Do-it-Yourself) method. And so far everything has been going out great.

- Third, the name of my band is "Venejer" and our the name of our album is "The Fourth Prime", which is available in iTunes, CDbaby, and all of those great sites.

- We have a potential growing fan base and of course we are part of MySpace
and that's where I would appreciate if anyone could go and check out our music:

I would really appreciate if you took the time and listen to some songs and gave me some feedback on anything you liked, didn't like, the mix, the production, master, anything on your mind!

Thanks in advance for your replies and for taking the time to read my post,
Jose M

Myspace is low quality so it is hard to comment on the mix. The songs aren't really the type of stuff I usually listen to, but they sound pretty good to me.

Congratulations! You're doing what so many here aspire to. I think your material sounds great!

For what it's worth--I've noticed a bit of a pattern around here. It seems that when someone is "making it" (not that we don't all still have a lot to learn) others are less likely to comment. I don't know if it's jealousy or if they figure you just don't need the help.

On the other hand, really amateurish sounding tracks (especially if they're posted by one of the "old timers") can get 5 pages of back slapping posts.

I for one like what you've done and hope to be right there with you soon! Keep it up!

thanks patlang and whitestrat, I really appreciate your comments!

Do you guys guys have any music posted up so I can reciprocate with you?

Thanks again,
Jose

Sounds to me like you are getting the sound that you want. Very deliberate and uniformly metastatic. If I play all the tracks I can tell that it's you, with the exception of Blame. For my taste, I would vary the sound a little, but then again that's probably why you are sucessful and I am not. Of course I never tried to actually sell anything, but I intend to soon.

Some of the vocals are over the top volume-wise, but I think that's particular to the genre. Somewhere between grunge - Coldplay - and light industrial metalwork. Of course I have no idea what I'm talking about.

Xeries and MBS, thank you very much for your comments.
I really appreciate you both taking the time to check out my music.

Also, thank you for the accolades. This is our debut album and we are already writing new material, more driven, and powerful but maintaining the same genre!.

Thank you again for listening!
Jose

Nicely done. Keep it up guys. Sigan adelante que van super bien y se escucha bien cabron! I think you understand what i've just said. LOL.

Hey I'm new here. Great music! and I like the overall sound. When the distorted guitars come in, everything sounds a bit confusing and not so clear anymore (could be arrangement). Maybe dirty guitars need some widening. Other than that the recording and mix is good.
