Weird noise when I use midi

Hey,

I've recently started using this program Colossus by Native Instruments. At first it seemed to work just fine, but then I tried loading multiple samples into the mix and it seems as if my computer can't take the sounds, it's starting to make weird bleeping noises and it squeeks and shit, is anyone familiar with this?

ok... when you get this sort of crap it's usually traceable to two related areas... either insufficient system ram.. or a hard drive issue... the first is easy enough to cure by somemore ram... the second usually comes down to spending money as well... only this time it's hard drives.. how many do you have???? if you're the normal newbie you.ve got one... where most of us have found it works better if things are separated.. for instance in my case i have three drives...
A. system (windows and all the operational software)
B. the recorded audio...
C. samples...

give us some info on your system...
