I did a "Spectrum Analysis" of some tracks I recorded (on seperate occassions with different equipment) with my M-Audio Audiophile 2496 and I keep getting a +10dB peak at about 37kHz...
I have no idea why this is, and although I can't hear it, find it kind of disturbing that all my recordings have some weird ultrasonic signal embedded.
Anyone else have this?
Is it oscillation or something? Would it be fixable with capacitor upgrades or something, or is this inherent in all internal soundcards?
