I play piano in a mainly originals band, but as we know certain venues require those well known covers to keep the crowds happy... which normally means playing around with all those funny synth sounds (not really my bag)

Just wondering if anyone knows a site which suggests settings, downloadable patches etc for different synths to emulate well known songs

(one for a Fantom XR would be nice!)

anything you need to know or need for your roland fantom , quite possibly the most complete resource for fantom players on the net , if it isn't here , you don't need it ;)

I'm surprised that you can't find what you need among the stock Roland XR sounds.

Yeah, just I've thousands of patches now... it's like patch 1/5000 nah, patch 2/5000, nah... etc! and the sound i'll be looking for next is a mix of organ and saw lead or something (No more heroes, Stranglers) I'll get close after about half hour of fiddling and comparing against the tape, just the net being what it is and me being lazy was hoping they'd be a resource for this type of thing (I remember seeing one for the V-Amp a while ago)... I'll check fantomized, cheers

(for the record, just found out they used the cheeky Hohner Cembalet electric piano)
