I need to know if there's any easy way to take files from the removable disc drive (via fostex MR8) into a multitrack program without having to buy any hardware. Is there something like a demo i can download?

thanks a lot tim! I downloaded audacity and hae imported some files. however, i cannot seem to get the plugins enabler to enable plug-ins. I dragged it into the plugins folder under program files yet nothing seems to be working as far as effects.
