ways of recording like this??

what are some techniques of recording the guitar and bass so that you get the sound of the heavy Sevendust ?? there mixing sounds really good, what are some ways of acheiving this?? right now im using line in on the back of the guitar amp and also on the bass amp..


any suggestions?? micing better?

Well first find out what equipment they use, then buy it. Then adjust the settings until it sounds the same.
