Wavelab jittering during recording

I have a 2408 mk II from MOTU. I seem to be having a jittering problem during recording. My buffer size in the PCI 324 is 1024, my buffer # is 6 and buffer size is 16384 in Wavelab. What should be the best way to set this up.
 
i have the motu 828 and get jitters in my recordings, heres a link to a 10 second mp3. ive tried everything... and since im not going to buy a new laptop, or a mac... might have to sell the darn thing.... let me know if you find a solution in the mean time, maybe it will help me too...

 
did yall try format reinstall with all the peripherals connected?

usually works but i don't have experience with motu audio interfaces just the midi
 
Jitter? Do you mean pops, clicks, or audio dropouts? Jitter is something that happens in your clock source.
