A couple of questions about using a UAD-1 with Wavelab -
1. When using UAD-1 plugs in Wavelab 4 the usage meter jumps up to 70% with just one instance from the UAD-1. Is this normal? Using additional plugs seems to add about 10% per instance. So, the card is maxed out with only 4 instances from the UAD-1.
2. When using UAD-1 "per clip" effects in the Audio Montage, it appears the effect is still active, although unused in the next clip. For example, if you used an instance of the Pultec on the first clip, and then an instance of the Pultec on the 2nd clip, the usage meter shows that there are two instances of the Pultec active no matter which clip is playing. Is this normal?
These two issues are frustrating
