I am trying to preview drum loop .wav files in sonar 4 loop explorer, but all I see are folders in the left side folder pane. No files are showing up in the right side pane. I've tried altering 'view file types' in winxp control panel, changing preview bus, and checking audio drivers. I know there's gotta be an easy solution. I've used sonar 2 for several years and never had this problem before. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

If I'm not mistaken, the loop explorer only recognises wav.files.Is it possible the loop is an mp3. or other type file?
Is your project set to the same sampling rate as the loop?
Does the folder in question actually have a file recognisable by the loop explorer?
Check the folder outside of Sonar and make sure the loop is there, and is of the proper file type.

Yes, I'm sure they are wav files and double checked them in windows explorer. It's not only wav files as the loop explorer will not let me access any files on any of my drives. What I see are folders in the folder pane, but no folder content (files), regardless of file type. I'm sure there's a simple fix but not sure what it may be. Again, sonar 2.2 loop explorer was working properly prior to S4 install. I've unintalled 2.2 and reinstalled 4 along with soundcard drivers, but still the same problem. Also, if it's any help, I can view the files and import into sonar using the import audio feature, just not with loop explorer. Any suggestions?
